March wheat traded 5 cents higher late in the overnight session. Outside market forces look
slightly supportive this morning with some weakness in the US dollar and strength in other
commodity markets providing light support….

Soybean futures ended mostly 12 to 15 cents higher today. For the week, futures rebounded from
sharp losses Monday to post gains and finished near weekly highs. March soybean ended the week 13
1/2 cents higher; November beans ended 15 cents higher….

March wheat opened 5 3/4 cents higher on the session at 668 1/2 and established an early range of
653 1/4 to 668 3/4. The market saw a recovery bounce from the sharp set-back off of Wednesday’s
highs early today but speculative sellers were active early in the day to…

** OPENING GRAIN CALLS **  Corn: 1 to 2 cents higher; improved demand on traders’ minds.
 Wheat: 3 to 5 cents higher; global crop concerns.  Soybeans: 5 to 7 cents higher; price
strength overnight.  Meal: $1 to $2 higher; spillover from beans….

1/2 to 673 3/4. The weakness in European wheat futures and ideas that the cold weather in Europe
will subside soon and not cause too much damage to the winter wheat crop…
