China, the world’s top soy importer, will sell 600,000 tonnes of domestic soy from state reserves
next week to draw down old government stocks, and analysts expect the sales could pressure crushing
margins and slow down imports….

July wheat was trading 5 3/4 cents higher late in the overnight session. Outside market forces look
slightly positive this morning with a recovery in the US equity market and some strength in
gold….

  Corn: 3 to 5 cents higher; cash market strength.  Wheat: 4 to 6 cents higher;
followthrough on weather concerns.  Soybeans: 3 to 5 cents lower; light profit-taking.
 Meal: Mixed; spreading….

U.S. wheat fell 0.7 percent  as the market took a breather after climbing to a six-week high
in the previous session on fears that dry conditions in the United States and Russia could curb
global supply….

Imports of wheat and maize into Italy, a major grain buyer in Europe, fell sharply in the first two
months of this year compared to the same period of 2011 when they jumped, Italian cereals body
Anacer said on Friday….

India plans to export wheat to Iran, a government source said on Friday, as New Delhi, which has
huge stockpiles of grains, hopes to boost exports to the sanctions-hit nation to help settle a part
of its oil imports bill through a bilateral mechanism….

    Chicago wheat futures finished 15 1/2 to 19 cents higher; Kansas City was 13 1/2 to
16 cents higher; and Minneapolis wheat ended steady to 9 cents higher….

July Wheat finished up 19 at 657 3/4, 3/4 off the high and 20 up from the low. December Wheat
closed up 17 3/4 at 688 3/4. This was 18 1/2 up from the low and 1/2 off the high….

July wheat opened 1 3/4 cents higher on the session at 640 1/2 and established an early range of
640 1/2 to 651 1/2. A lack of rain in the forecast for the western plains in the next week or more
and a heat-up in temperatures plus increased crop concerns for the Black…
